Hitler's Fighter Jet in World War 2

World War 2 - World War Stories will put you back to the history of fighter jet planes, we all thought that fighter jets were not available in World War 2 but we were wrong! During the final years of World War 2 Hitler focus his attention to create weapons that could win his War in Europe and one of the outputs of his crazy but possible endeavors was Messerschmitt Me 262.  The Me 262 was the first Fighter Jet in World War 2, the fighter Jet was the first supersonic fighter plane at that time.  It carries rockets with max speed of 541 mph, any World War 2 planes such as the Mustang would definitely run for help when this plane roars the sky.

The Me 262 was put to service in April 1944 with two roles: as an attack plane and as a bomber that is why there were two models of Me 262 ( Me 262 A-1a and Me 262 A-2a).  The bomber role of the the plane was Hitler's idea, believing using it as a bomber could turn back the tide of war in favor to Germany.  Hitler made thousands of  this aircraft but due to the scarcity of fuel only 200 or more were able to experience combat. Despite the limited missions and the limited number of Me 262 flew for  combat they were successful in winning battles and dogfights. In fact one German fighter jet ace got 20 or more kills, he is Kurt Welter and over 6 pilots got above 10 kills, that simply means allied fighters were no much to the prowess of  Me 262. If only Me 262 was given enough priority by Hitler, he could score many victories in Europe and possibly could prolong World War 2.  Allied forces  fought back by destroying the runways of Me 262 and as far as possible destroying all German bases, the best way they could do to halt Me 262 from destroying Allied planes. By war's end, the Me 262 had accounted for 509 claimed Allied kills against approximately 100 losses.
