World War Stories - We are decided to put a discussion pertaining to the recent battle between two great boxers, and as a boxing fan it is worth to write something about the result of the last November 13 battle between PacMan and Marquez. As most viewers would say the fight was boring, the Filipino boxer aggressively attacking while the challenger was doing the defensive mode and it should not be that way. Marquez is the challenger he supposedly the one to go out and hunt PacMan to win the crown. I agree it was a close fight and somebody should deserve a win and that decision from the judges was not a mistake, but rather the right decision and it can be a wake up call for those who wants to challenge a champ, that dethroning a champ you should earn it by doing offensive and not defensive.

So why did Pacquiao won the scorecards? Because Pacquiao did most of the FIGHTING! Did Marquez dominated the fight? NO, only his counter punching did, but not the whole game. So saying Marquez won is also a questionable claim. It was an even one as many have observed. Yet it was Pacquiao who was dictating the pace of the whole fight. It was their third fight and Marquez did the same old thing from their last two fights waiting for Pacquiao to eat his bait with no intention (or courage) to play and challenge Pacquiao’s game also. He said he wanted to show the world that he is better than Pacquiao, but look at the fight? All he can do is counter punch. Thats why Manny won the fight since display of a true fighter’s courage to challenge anyone’s game was the basis of winning.
The scorecards are:
Robert Hoyle: 114- 114 draw;
Dave Moretti: 115- 113 Pacquiao;
Glenn Trowbridge: 116 – 112 Pacquiao;
A majority decision in favor of Pacquiao.

** As you might notice in Olympic boxing, you might say a fighter is winning because of the way he threw the punches but later onward you’re left wondering that he lose. That’s because the judges have their own basis of scoring different from ours. Same as what happened here in Pacquiao Marquez III.
In the scorecards, Manny won, but in reality they both won and gave the audience the show they deserved.
To sum it up, if you say Manny Pacquiao is good, so is Juan Manuel Marquez.
1) Pacquiao is the aggressor in the fight by always moving forward and Marquez all have to do is backing and counter-punching. If you’re a challenger thats not the way to beat a champion. And based on punches thrown and landed, it was Pacquiao who did more.
2) Judges were chosen based on their credibility, knowledge and experience. We have to agree that they know more details on how to judge on a boxing fight. It’s like a unique painting that there is something that we don’t see and understand and only artists know about it. And besides they are seating at the ringside. We know how good Pacquiao is, based on his big easy wins and knockout performances before. That’s why we are expecting too much from Pacquiao on this fight. Sometimes people don’t see the greatness when you’re expecting too muchh and you’re only expecting what you want and what you saw before.

Never argue with the judge and never act like the expert. If Marquez wins then he won it Manny got the better of him then it is as its should. On my part I don't really care much about who wins.
this blogger sucks, stick to typing our articles in filipino, since it seems all your doing is translating it word for word, it seems that you should also learn from the people criticizing the fight
boxingloves we did not translate any Filipino article for this feat. We simply feature the content from http://rkmagfeelingexpert.wordpress.com. We also love boxing as you do, the explanation from rkmagfeelingexpert is worth to be presented because it is well explained the outcome of the PacMan/Marquez fight.
