The Sabah conflict - a difficult dispute

The chaos right now in Sabah is a difficult issue, very difficult that the Philippine Government seem reluctant to support the grievances of the Sulu Sultanate.  But this issue might shaken the recent peace agreement with the MILF (Muslim rebels in Mindanao).  And now everybody including those running for senators in the country are blabbing their mouths about it.  Many rush towards the issue, blaming both sides, blaming history, etc.  But as I said this is very difficult issue, and that is why who ever is sitting as Philippine President would find it the hard to solve dispute, even the late President Marcos was not able to get Sabah back.

DOES CHINA HAVE AN ARMY OF HACKERS?

Everybody knows that China is not only building massive armies but there are many people speculating that the country's military supports hacking.  There are many recorded incidents of hacking that involve China, because it simply points to their direction. Now, an American computer-security got irritated by the rampant malicious acts of these hackers so they pin-point to the world map where these treats are coming from, the location is a twelve story building  in Shanghai China, the building is not a commercial one, but a headquarters of People's Liberation Army Unit 61398. What the!!  What do you think these hackers are doing in that Military building? Are they just playing solitaire? 

Re-arming Japan - A new superpower in Asia?

In the past century Japan was a super power and years before that a nation with a naval might. After World War 2 Japan tasted humiliation, defeat and reform; the once mighty nation became an industrial country with rich economy.   Japanese tasted the bitterness of War and they dislike it, hate it and much as possible avoid it. But the Rise of Chinese military and its Navy sowed fear to neighboring countries especially to those countries with rights on the disputed islands and shoals.   The Samurai spirit of the Japanese Army started to wake-up and decided to Re-arm again.  This scenario happens before, it is like repeating the history -- before Japan shocked the World's Navies with their Yamato-class Battleships and Carrier.  Today what could be in their minds to challenge the advance battleships of China?  Japan is expert in making gigantic battleships in secrecy, they are the most discipline people in the world.

The Re-arming of Japan is not to face off with China, but rather to bring balance of power in Asia and that is what Philippines, Vietnam and other countries thought of it.  America seems agreeing to the decision of Japan  though it sparks tension with China.  America as what everybody thought as the protector of democracy in Asia and pledged to help those small countries that are involved in the disputes in South China Sea.  But America seems unwilling to help in giving assistance to these small countries in protecting their sovereignty.   

And Japan steps in to be that one -- Rearming their country, improving their Navies would at least makes China to re-think whatever plans they have in their minds in taking those disputed islands.   

China is getting more powerful each passing year, every after few months they introduced new weapons, ships or planes and missiles, what chances could these poor countries who are fighting for their sovereignty could have.  If  War would brake, it will never be on the lands but on the seas and air, it will be an expensive war -- where bamboo sticks and guerrilla warfare would never get a chance to get a kill.
